First Reconciliation Preparation classes are offered to Grade 2 students and older at St. Pius X.
First Eucharist now follows First Reconciliation.
Our new Diocesan parish process includes a home program, parent enrichment sessions and children’s sessions.
There will be a mandatory Parent Information Session to further explain the First Reconciliation Sacrament Preparation Program and how you can continue to support your child’s faith development on Saturday October 5 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Children are also required to attend.
There are five (5) sessions to prepare for First Reconciliation. The sessions run for 90 minutes.
Saturday October 5: First Class – CHILDREN and PARENTS: 9:30 am to 11:00 am
Saturday October 26: Second Class – CHILDREN and PARENTS: 9:30 am to 11:00 am
Saturday November 16: Third Class – CHILDREN and PARENTS: 9:30 am to 11:00 am
Saturday November 23: Forth Class – CHILDREN and PARENTS: 9:30 am to 11:00 am
Saturday December 14: Fifth Class – CHILDREN and PARENTS: 9:30 am to 11:00 am
WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 18: Reconciliation Service for ALL– 7pm– Check in at the back of the church between 6:30pm and 6:45pm
- CLASSES start promptly at 9:30 am. Please check in by 9:15 am.
- CLASSES for the children are held in the church Basement Lounge and parents will meet in the Church.
- Please advise Tina of your child’s food allergies.
There is a fee of $27 for First Reconciliation. Your child will receive one book for First Reconciliation Preparation.
Registration is only complete once all 3 steps are complete.

Email a copy or photo of your child’s BAPTISMAL RECORD to email@example.com. Indicate the Child’s Name and Sacrament (s) in the Subject Line.
If payment was not made by Credit Card in Step 1, please mail one cheque with your child’s name and the Sacrament(s) that you registered for to:
