The 2016 Multicultural Food Festival was another superb, fun filled evening! The assortment of ethnic food was extraordinary and there was enough to fill five buffet tables, not to mention all the delectable desserts!

In addition to the food we had some great entertainment including: an incredible number of “ethnic” songs from each of the tables, a short song from our Syrian family, and our first Canada trivia contest. Our headliners were Sheila Mattar on piano accompanied by Al Roach on the vocals leading everyone in some great sing-alongs. Thanks very much to all of you for making the evening a resounding success.

A very big thank you to all the Hospitality committee members who were working behind the scenes from the early planning stages, to setting up the hall, organizing the evening, and doing the cleanup. These hard working people included: Margaret Anne Quinn, Al and Tina Roach, Anne Lipoth, Suzanne Karsten, Sonia Mueller, Mirka Saraceni, and Clint and Marilyn Strowger.

We also want to extend a special thank you to all our wonderful guests who helped us with the clean-up after the event, and a big thanks to Mike Jubenville for bringing the sound system to life
