Welcome
to the St. Pius X Men's Prayer Group! Jesus said, "For where two
or three meet in my name, I am there among them." (NJB Matt 18:20).
Do you suppose that means we should have an extra chair available
for Him? Well, we are all parts of the Body of Christ, so why not?
In fact, we have several extra chairs waiting for you and/or a friend,
son, brother, or even dad!
And
what do we do? Well, we read Sunday's Gospel and reflect on it.
Then we discuss a chapter of whichever book on being a better Christian
man we happen to be reading (currently, 'Boys to Men - The Transforming
Power of Virtue' by Tim Gray and Curtis Martin). Then we pray. And
then we conclude, and talk some more. In other words, it's just
a great time of fellowship, study and sharing for Christian men.
We
meet from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM the last Saturday of every month in
one of our homes. Generally, we announce the location and date in
the church bulletin, but if you'd like to find out the current details,
you may contact the parish office.
See
you Saturday morning!
