Children's Liturgy

Children's Liturgy is a celebration of the Word at the child's level of understanding. It is offered at 3 age levels at the 9:00 & 10:45 Masses.

Ages 4 (as of December 31, school year) - 6 years (Grade 1): (Craft-centered) - Children are invited to the Church Basement Lounge upon arrival at Mass (5 minutes before Mass begins) and return following the Prayers of the Faithful.

Grades 2 & 3 (sacristy) & Grades 4-6 (U of C Lounge):
These children are invited to their celebration before the Readings and will return during the Offertory.

Registration: Takes place in the Fall and you are asked to register your child by your regular Mass time. If you come to a different Mass on a given week-end, you may still attend Children's Liturgy. The purpose of registration is to help with planning.

Saturday Morning Classes (for children in Public Schools)

The classes run from September until Easter (holidays excluded), Saturday mornings (9:00 - 10:30 AM) and take place in every possible space at St. Pius.
